12 Buckets is a registered childrens charity located in Perth, Western Australia, dedicated to assisting primary aged children who need extra support in life and learning. 12 Buckets connects adult volunteers to children as mentors and these mentors focus on area of strength or interest that the child has, seeing the child develop in that ability and while creating a way for the child to give that developing skill away for the benefit of others. Additionally, 12 Buckets creates other opportunities, in partnership with the schools in which the program operates, for participating children to grow emotionally, socially and academically. This includes, first-class sporting opportunities and their university aspiration program.

There are 2 main features in the 12 Buckets app:

First, the ability to stay connected to the latest 12 Buckets updates through our news feed.

Second, the opportunity to sponsor a child participating in the 12 Buckets program. When you sponsor a child in this way, you will receive regular updates in realtime on how your student is progressing. Additionally, through the app, you will be able to safely send messages of encouragement that will be passed on to the student.

The 12 Buckets app enables you to connect to the information that validates that you really are bringing life change to a young child in need while protecting the identity of the child. At the same time, the app helps a local child in need to see that there are people in the community who are supporting them and cheering them on while keeping the identity of the supporter secure.
